8.7.2010 Wedding: STL Style
This Cardinals hat cake was for a St. Louis-themed wedding. The bride surprised the groom with this cake of his favorite team's hat to add to all of the other St. Louis dishes and desserts. This was the perfect addition to St. Louis' famous Gooey Butter Cake, Ted Drewes, Gus' Pretzels, and toasted ravioli!
Three layers of traditional white cake and vanilla buttercream covered with red fondant to look like my favorite team's hat! It's even served on 'home plate'!

Unique Wedding Order
This bride had a vision of doing something unique for her wedding cake and cupcakes. Her two tier cake was adorned with various requested objects to represent the bride and groom and their hobbies/ interests, creating a very personalized look. Each cupcake was topped with a fondant stamped "L" for their last name.
Cupcakes for a Cause
YAPA (Young Asian-American Professional Association) and Dillon International Adoption pair up for an annual summer BBQ to celebrate diversity and play a special part in the lives of many adopted children from Asia. I had the opportunity to make some yummy cupcakes and cookies for the event this summer. Simple, but sweet: chocolate and vanilla cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream, sprinkles and the letters "Y-A-P-A" added a fun custom touch. these paired with my famous Ooey Gooey Butter (a St. Louis classic) cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone at the BBQ!
Superbowl XLIII Treats
Who doesn't love Super Mario Brothers?!?
This is a two tier marble cake, for a 5 year olds birthday party. Anpther cake that was a blast to do! Inside: marble cake with vanilla buttercream. All of the characters are made from fondant and everything on this cake is completely 100% edible! I did my best to encorporate as many characters as I could, and even used a 'marbleized' blue for the sky as a background! Everyone, including the birthday boy, loved it!
Beautiful Baby Shower
This was my favorite to date! Inspired by the eclectic mom-to-be, I put together an array of adorable and delicious treats! another baby shower that I did for a co-worker. This ensamble consisted of a mini cupcake tower, a cake topper, and homemade personalized sugar cookies to go along with it. Each mini vanilla cupcake was topped with vanilla buttercream and fondant flower with edible pearl center. The cake was topped with a 'fondant pregnant Hannah'. Each sugar cookie was adorned with matching fondant flowers and individually packaged
Hannah, the adorable mom-to-be with all of her sweet treats!
50th Birthday Fondant Fun
This was my present to a very close family friend for her surprise 50th birthday party. This was a lot of fun to do, and I was able to try a new recipe! The bottom layer was my classic chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream, while the top layer was a strawberry/ lemon combo- it tasted great!
Since I was at the party, I was able to snatch a picture of the birthday girl with her cake! Happy 50th, Candy!!
Life's a Beach
A beach-themed cake for a friend's birthday! Complete with waves and sea creatures, and topped off with palm trees, graham cracker sand, towel, and flip flops.. how fun!

My First Wedding
My first wedding! A mini cake/cupcake tower with a graded effect. The cupcake buttercream faded from pale pink to hot pink in color as you move down the tiers of the tower. Each cupcake is topped with a fondant daisy. Real flowers provided by the bride really topped it off!
Ice Cream Cakes
Always up for the something new, I wanted to attempt Ice Cream Cakes. These were two ice cream cakes I did for family birthday parties.
Mint-Chip: chocolate cake on the bottom topped in a layer of whipped cream, mint chip ice cream and another layer of whipped cream and finished off with Andes mints.
Next, Cookie dough delight: chocolate chip cookie base layered with cookie dough icecream and solid chocolate. I topped it off with homemade whipped cream and cookie crumbles.. and it tasted just as good as it looked!
